These Terms govern your use of cornstalkfestival.com and any sponsorship purchased through this website. By using this website or purchasing a sponsorship, you agree to these Terms.
Sponsorships Are Commercial Purchases
Sponsorship packages sold on this website are commercial marketing and hospitality purchases that include the benefits described for each tier. Sponsorship payments are not charitable donations and are not represented as tax-deductible contributions. Please consult your own tax professional regarding the treatment of sponsorship expenses for your business.
Payments
- Sponsorship payments are due in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We are not responsible for errors, outages, or delays caused by the payment processor or your financial institution.
Sponsor Benefits
- Benefits will be fulfilled as described for each sponsorship tier at the time of purchase.
- Sponsors are responsible for providing required materials (such as logos and artwork) in a timely manner when requested. We cannot guarantee placement for materials received after communicated deadlines.
- Multi-year sponsorship benefits (where stated) apply to the number of festival years described in the tier.
Event Changes
Festival dates, lineup, layout, and programming are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable sponsor visibility and benefits if event details change.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cornstalk Fest, LLC, its owners, organizers, volunteers, and contractors (including website design and development service providers) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website, sponsorship purchases, event changes or cancellation, or any dispute related to sponsor benefits. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the sponsor.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Refund & Cancellation Policy

Sponsor-Initiated Cancellations
Because sponsorship funds are committed to festival planning, production, and promotional materials as soon as they are received, sponsorship purchases are non-refundable once benefits have begun to be fulfilled (for example, once a logo has been printed, published, or displayed). If you need to cancel before any benefits have been fulfilled, contact us as soon as possible — we will work with you in good faith, and any refund granted before fulfillment begins is at our discretion.
If the Festival Is Postponed
If a festival event is postponed, all sponsorships will automatically carry over to the rescheduled date with the same benefits. No action is needed from sponsors.
If the Festival Is Cancelled
If a festival year is cancelled entirely and not rescheduled, sponsors may choose between:
- Applying their sponsorship to the next festival year with the same benefits, or
- A refund of the sponsorship amount, less any costs already incurred in fulfilling that sponsor's benefits (such as printed signage or produced materials).
Multi-Year Sponsorships
For multi-year sponsorship tiers, if remaining festival years cannot be held, sponsors will be offered a pro-rated resolution for the unfulfilled years, applied as a credit or refund at the sponsor's choice.
